I'm Becoming, roots and all.

I love my fun sign made for me by a dear friend, Kristen!

(Of course it's displayed in the salon where roots apply to regrowth and hair color maintenance.)

But as my mother pointed out, roots are important. They are the foundation from where I came from...my beginning.

The growing pains and stretching of transformation I resisted in my twenties and thirties, accepted in my forties, and am working to embrace as I head toward fifty.

I'm Becoming.
